Outlook (Windows)

Remove your profile from Outlook:

1.Exit Outlook.
2.Open Control Panel.
3.Open Mail by clicking the Mail icon.
4.Choose Show Profiles.
5.Select a profile.
6.Click Remove.

After removing your Outlook profile, open Outlook.  You will be prompted to create a new profile.  Name it something like your new email address (<username>@acom.edu).  Once you have created the new profile, you will be prompted to log in.  User your new email address to log in.

Changing to .edu email address in Android

  1. Go into Settings.
  2. Select Accounts.
  3. Select Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
  4. Select your ACOM email account.
  5. Tap the menu button in the top right of the screen.
  6. Select Remove Account.
  7. Go back to the Home screen and select your email app.
  8. In the settings menu of your email app, add a new corporate account using your new email address (<username>@acom.edu).

Outlook (Mac)

Changing to .edu email address in Outlook (Mac)

  1. From Finder, open the Applications folder.
  2. Ctrl+click or right-click Microsoft Outlook, and then click Show Package Contents.
  3. Open Contents > SharedSupport, and then double-click Outlook Profile Manager.
  4. Do one of the following:

Create a new profile Click the Create a new profile button , and then type a name for the new profile
Rename a profile Double-click the profile, and then type a new name for the profile.
Delete a profile Click the profile that you want to remove, and then click the Delete the selected profile button  .
Change the default profile Click the profile that you want, click Set the default profile  , and then click Set as Default. Restart Outlook for this change to take effect.
  1. Delete your profile.
  2. Close the Outlook Profile Manager.
  3. Open Outlook and add your account back using <username>@acom.edu.

Changing to .edu email address in iOS

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Settings icon.
  2. Tap Mail.
  3. Tap Accounts.
  4. Tap your current ACOM email account.
  5. Tap Delete Account.
  6. Add your account back as an Exchange account using your new email address (<username>@acom.edu).

If your phone or tablet asks for an email server, type in “outlook.office365.com.”
