E-Book Functionality: Home

About E-books

Academic eBook functionality is very different than personal or public library eBook functionality.  They are accessible from several different web platforms and functionality depends on the platform and any restrictions placed by the publisher.

  • Course textbooks can be found on the Course Resources page.
  • You can also search for books using the Books Tab in the search box below.

Advantages of creating a personal account within eBook collections can include:

  • Downloading images to PowerPoint
  • Creating citations
  • Saving content by “favoriting” a piece of content
  • Creating self-assessment quizzes
  • Working through Cases
  • Using the Flashcards
  • Playing Showdown
  • Customizing Patient Education handouts
  • And more...
